Welcome home day for Evan

It was one year ago today that Evan was released from the NICU. After a 13 day stay our little guy came home. It was bittersweet because Gage and Caleb were left in the NICU and our little team that took over half of one of the NICU suites was being broken up. Evan had the spot closest to the window, and I was so sad thinking another baby was going to be replacing him in his "his spot". We knew that Gage was going to be home the next day, so myself and my mother in law and father in law took Evan home. Rick had to work since we were trying to save his time off for when they were all home. I don't remember much about the day, but I do know I just could not believe that they were going to allow us to take him. After him being there in the NICU for almost 2 weeks, you almost forget that it is your very own child and you can do whatever you want since they are all yours.
