Catching up

The time is just absolutely flying by! The saying "the days are long, but the months fly by" is definitely true. Gage has been crawling for almost a month now and he is something, so fast! In just the past week he has gone from crawling to pulling up on everything and now to standing and climbing everywhere. There is not a position he can't get into and when he is done standing he either falls down on his butt or slowly puts his hands down. I love to see him standing so proud in his crib or laughing at himself in the mirror or reflection off the appliances.

Caleb is doing the snake crawl now. He kinda goes on his side with one leg dragging and slithers to where he wants to go. And of course rolling to where he wants to go. Sometimes it looks like baby yoga with all his funny contortions. Such a happy, camera loving baby, I will sit in front of him and smile at his cuteness and he will just smile right back.

Evan is doing very well too, lots of laughs. Not too much with crawling, but somehow he will end up under everything by rolling and just observe. He has a fascination with labels, and will just sit and hold and stare at labels. He likes to focus on things and just observe and take it all in.

Our main focus is getting more variety with food. That is and I am sure will always be a challenge. They love oyster crackers, cheese, bananas,Kix,rice krispies, yogurt melts and all stage 2 baby food.

Now here are some cute pics I could not resist posting. Thanks Aunt Tricia for the pirate costumes. These were a gift last year from Aunt Tricia, back when I just looked at the costumes and could not even imagine that they would fit into them ever. But they actually fit just right. The boys ended up being skeletons because I was worried they would not be too happy in the more restrictive costumes. Wow, was I wrong. They just had a blast and the hats were a huge hit as they just laughed at each other and tried to take each other's hat.
