I cannot believe that my boys are 3/4's of a year old! Where has time gone... It truly seems like such a distant memory now, the days and nights of feeding babies every 3 hours, pumping in between feedings, looking at Rick as we sat at the kitchen table wondering if we would ever truly enjoy a meal, or would food just become a
necessity to get through our long days. I remember the first day Rick went back to work and I was still on maternity leave and I was home alone for 10 hours a day with the boys. That first day alone when they all started to cry at once and I found out that
boppies are great to feed babies in or putting 2 in a bouncy seat and 1 in another to feed them. I remember waking in the middle of the night with Rick and if we could get them fed, burped, changed and back to sleep in about 1 hour, that was making good time. Then magically when the boys turned 12 weeks old, they slept through the night! I remember tucking them in together in the same crib every night for the first 5 1/2 months of their life. The night we split them up, I will admit, I am the only one who cried.
So, we have made it this far and I have truly loved every single second of it. The tough, sleep deprived times seem like they never happened, and when someone asks me how we did it with just the 2 of us and 3 preemie babies, it just seems so normal, I can't imagine life any other way.
On to the real reason you stop by my blog, pictures! Thank you Great Grandma Grace for the awesome tuxes, they look like mini James Bonds!
